Horses making their last start in for a $25,000 or higher claiming price may not enter lower than NW6000L5.

Horses making their last start in for a $20,000 claiming price may not enter lower than NW4000L5.

Enter your horses where they actually fit. Your horse may not be transferred to the correct class if scheduled on the same day. If a horse is transferred

to another class, it will lose it's preference rotation to the horses already entered in the class even if it has a PA preference.

YOU MUST CONTACT THE PHHA OFFICE IN CHESTER TO INQUIRE 

WHAT PAPERWORK IS REQUIRED FOR THE PA PREFERENCE. 

WITHOUT IT YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE IT.

 

Qualifying Standards 

PACE 4YO & UP 2:01, 3YO 2:03, 2YO 2:03 

TROT 4YO & UP 2:03, 3YO 2:05, 2YO 2:05

Claiming Allowances:  Mares 20% - 4YO 25% - 3YO 50%

QUALIFYING RACES BEGIN 10 A.M. (during month of June with the addition of 2 Yr. Old Baby Races starting time may possibly be 9 A.M.)

When entering by phone for qualifying races the day before ONLY enter between 9-11 A.M.

 

ALL HORSES ENTERED TO RACE AT MOHEGAN SUN AT POCONO DOWNS MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING

DOCUMENTATION DATED WITH THE CURRENT YEAR ON FILE 

WITH THE RACING DEPARTMENT BEFORE SCRATCH TIME FOR THEIR RACE:

1. PROOF OF COGGINS TEST 

2. PROOF OF RABIES VACCINATION 

3. CURRENT HEALTH CERTIFICATE DATED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HORSE ENTERING GROUNDS FOR 1ST TIME. 

4. EHV-1 VACCINATION

 

HORSES WITHOUT THIS DOCUMENTATION ON FILE WILL NOT BE PROGRAMMED TO RACE.
